The Children’s Center’s Pediatric Physician Clinic provides a wide variety of services to more than 1,500 patients each year. Uniquely staffed by a team comprised of Oklahoma’s finest doctors, children receive state of the art treatment ranging from general pediatrics to medical and physical therapies for children with complex medical and physical disabilities. Clinic doctors include medical director Darin Brannan, M.D., whose unique expertise includes neurodevelopmental disorders; Marc R. Hille, M.D., along with Cindy Carter, M.S., C.C.N.S., Clinical Nurse Specialist, who serve neurology patients; and Edward A. Wright, M.D., Oklahoma’s only pediatric physiatrist or rehabilitation medicine physician, William Herndon, M.D. our Pediatric Orthopedic Surgeon and Laura Estell Shamblin, M.D., who began her medical career as a nursing assistant at The Children's Center in 1998. An interdisciplinary approach including physical therapy, occupational therapy, and speech therapy is utilized in the screening process for various disorders that involve development delays or orthopedic disorders.
