Our Caring Medical StaffA professional nursing staff tends to the 24-hour unique medical needs of the fragile children at The Children's Center. Registered nurses, licensed practical nurses and certified nursing assistants work as a team to provide the best care possible for more than 100 inpatients annually. Nursing department staff to patient ratio is approximately 1:4. Highly skilled respiratory therapists work closely with nursing personnel to care for the children's complex pulmonary needs.

The Children's Center's medical staff specializes in complex pediatric conditions and brings a wealth of knowledge and loving care to the children. Everyone works toward one common goal: what is best for the child. In fact, each child's care plan is evaluated every 90 days by his physicians, nurses, therapists, dieticians, teachers, social workers, dieticians and parents to assess progress and make any necessary changes to improve the child's health, abilities, and overall well-being.
