The Children's Center benefits from a variety of special events throughout each year. Events include those planned by the Center for the children, those sponsored by the Center to raise awareness or funds for the Center, and events sponsored by community organizations to help The Children's Center. Visit The Children's Center on Open
Interview Day to tour our facility, meet our staff, and see
if we might work together to serve children with medical and physical
disabilities. Just drop in anytime on Thursday, June 3rd, starting at 9
a.m. and continuing until 4 p.m. Tours will run every half-hour and we
will provide you with additional information and some refreshments

Miss Rodeo USA Contestants visit The Children's Center
A group of rodeo queens from across
the United States visited The Children’s Center as part of their
activities in Oklahoma City. The queens are participating in the Miss
Rodeo USA 2010 pageant being held in conjunction with the International
Finals Rodeo.
Members of the Oklahoma City Philharmonic recently visited The Children's
Center. Their group "Strings in Stereo" came to perform a themed
concert for the children. Watch this video to hear why this group loves

National Physical Therapy Month
October is National Physical Therapy month. The Children's Center
is blessed with a great staff of Physical Therapists that do an amazing
job each day with the patients. See what one therapist has to say about

Patients at the Center visit TG Farms
Tag along with The Children's Center as we take a trip to TG
Farms in Newcastle, OK. Recently, patients from the Pediatric Medical
Rehabilitation Unit (PMRU) spent a day there socializing with the
animals and undertaking new trails. Thanks to TG farms for an inspiring
day!!!!
The Walmart Foundation gives to The Children's Center
The Walmart Foundation donated $7,500 to The Children's Center.

A Sunny Day at The Children's Center
A special visitor brought smiles all around on Monday, October 12, 2009. Sunny the miniature horse made a special guest visit to the Center showing patients that he was able to overcome his disability to make a difference in the world.
