Care

Patients have complex medical needs as a result of birth defects or complications, traumatic accidents or illnesses.  Average length of stay is 24 months. The age range is newborn to 18 years of age.

Pediatric Medical Rehabilitation 

Staff provide rehabilitation due to a traumatic or congenital injury, sudden illness, or post-surgery treatment.  The average length of stay is 25 days, while the age range is newborn to 21 years of age.

Superhero Day

Superhero Day
Superhero Day is our newest “theme day” in the Pediatric Medical Rehabilitation Unit (PMRU). Every Monday and Wednesday staff, patients and families can participate in a designed theme. Today, the staff is wearing brightly colored superhero capes and masks, and encouraging the patients to do the same.
